My Ar 204 has tight chamber so got small base die. Using hornady brass ran them in fl die first relubed then stuck two in small base die. Could it be the hornady brass I'm lost y they are so hard to size.

What kind of lube are you using?
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
Not sure I get it from reloading supply place think it's lanolin oil never had a problem with it with regular FL dies.
One of two things.
1-Lube
2-Loading press linkage. Some presses due to the style of their linkage pull hard no matter what.
The 204 is a small case.
It's a gas gun.
Yuts spose to leave dem hulls on da ground ;-))
