    Having a issue....


    Picked up a new Savage model 14 american Classic in .243 today. This is my first Classic and I can not separate the action from the stock.What am I doing wrong? I have owned and done numerous barrel swaps in the past and never had this issue.Is there a different technique since the bolt release is located in front of the trigger guard VS the old style?

    Did you remove the screw from under the bolt release?
