My guess is it may be an extractor issue and not the brass. If you do a search on here there are several threads regarding problems with extractors (mostly copper colored ones I think) and a simple ball detent or spring may fix the problem and save you from having to get rid of good brass. I have a little experience with hornady brass in .204 but not in .308 match so I can't really help you. Just something to check out.
