    Mounting issues

Ordered a 20 MOA rail. Ordered high Seekins rings. The 0 MOA rail and medium rings didn't work due to front of scope hitting my cadex chassis. Figured the high rings would work with the 20 MOA rail. Nope. Made it worst. So I either get higher rings or put the 0 MOA. Spent enough of these rings. Last seekins rings to try are the extra high (1.26) before going AR high, which I don't want. I wanted the 20 MOA rail so I can dial past 1000 yards. Suggestions?

Sounds like higher rings are your only option. Or maybe a mount with built in 20 moa, and a 0 moa rail?

Went to local store and picked up Xtra high Burris xtreme tactical rings. Have always read you want the scope as close to barrel as possible. Am thinking this is to high and could go down to the high version. But it does feel good looking down the scope and check is comfortable. To high?

Mine looks to be about the same height. Lower would be nicer, but I'm not spending another $150 on scope rings.

This underscores the importance of double checking your math. I don't know how your arithmetic led you to think any ring with a saddle height lower than 0.5 inches would work, but just in my head I came up with a saddle height of 13mm in a 0 MOA, continuous rail situation. That's probably pretty close to the figure you're going to look for if you do want the scope lower to the bore.

The rail is a 20 MOA rail. I should of used the scope measurement program but instead I guestimated. Current xtra high rings are 1.60. The high ones are 1.35, which am pretty sure they will work but will measure. Nice thing about burris rings are they are half the cost of seekins rings. Place I bought these said I could bring them back if they didn't work out so may do that and get the high rings and leave it there. Prefer seekins but will try these out for awhile and see how it goes. The seekins rings I purchased were the high rings, 0.97. Thanks guys.

Traded out to high rings. Don't think the mediums would work at 1.10 but could be real close. These high rings at 1.35 will work for now until I do some serious research if these don't work out for me.
