    Numerich Wood Stocks

Has anyone used this stock from Numerich?

What is the cheek rest like? Is it just a high comb, or does it have more of the 'rollover' cheek rest?

    Thanks

They claim they are. There are different inlets as well (Blind mag, Detachable box, floor plate, etc.).

At that price, i'm tempted to just buy it. I would like to know the style of cheek rest though.

This was my thought, as well. It'd be easy to Glass bed and Pillar bed this gun, too.

I don't believe that is a roll over cheek rest. Give Numrich a call, they should be able to clear it up.

I have bought lots of stocks from Numrich and they have all been very nice. I have ordered one similar to this in the past and the check rest is just your typical monte carlo style. The stock will arrive very rough and lots of finishing will be needed along with a bit of inletting done to make it work. Makes for a nice project.

I bit the bullet. I bought one for my dad for his birthday in August. With this and my stock from Richards Microfit arriving soon is going to be a busy couple months

I bought a stock off of Numerich, but instead i went with a stock for a 112 BV. I spent more money, but i think it'll be a nicer looking stock in the end.

I just got mine in today but immediately was a little disappointed because it looks like a knot had fallen out of the butt but otherwise it looks nice. Oh and a big kicker. It's for a dbm and isn't listed for one and my dad's gun isn't a dbm

I decided I'm going to go ahead and use this stuff anyways and I'll just buy a hinged floorplate for it.
I started working on it last weekend and man was this thing rough. It's coming along nicely though.
This is just to 60 grit and it's not done with 60 yet. I still have some shaping to do in the grip and the cheek piece and front tip

I'm cutting 1/2in off the butt to get rid of the imperfections and I'll put a 1in butt pad on it

That's actually not a bad piece of walnut. Get some miles gilbert bone black and apply per instructions and make that grain really pop.

Oh and that looks like it's for a regular bottom metal rifle, not DBM.
