top bolt release to bottom release conversion

I have a savage 10FXP 308 with a top bolt release that I would like to put in a 11 Lightweight hunter wood stock that is designed for a bottom bolt release. I have the bottom bolt release trigger guard already but savage told me the bottom bolt release sear is a gunsmith only part. And even If i could get ahold of one I have read the the way the spring attached to the trigger group/receiver is two different between the two models. I would much prefer to not have to cut into my new stock if i don't have too.

I'd just inlet the stock for the top bolt release.

    Yep.

Just dremel or file out the stock where the bolt release is.

I converted a bottom bolt release stock to do this.

I actually converted a bottom bolt release to a top bolt release because I hate the bottom bolt release, and made more sense when installing a accurate mag bottom metal (because makes it hard to release the bolt since it gets rid of the bottom bolt release button)

Here is a pic of my brothers 10-fcp-k 308w that was a bottom bolt release and now it's on top.

Yep. Inlet for top bolt. Bottom bolt is a pita.
