    Ok another what is it


    Ok, here is the second 22 found in my father in laws basement. The only thing my father in law remembered about the gun was his father shooting lots of squirrels with it over the years.

    Again no serial number that I can find.

    It's from about 1912, maybe early 1913, I have records of one about 6000 higher from mid-1913 and one about 22,000 less from late 1910. It's got the forth barrel stamp which is correct for that time frame and it should have the second type ejector that came into about that time - on the left side of the receiver, if the end of the ejector screw is close to the front of the receiver it's the first type, if it's about 2/3 of the way back it's the second (other than the take-down screw there should only be one screw showing through that side of the receiver).
