    tuning a Mark II Savage

Hello, I have purchased used, but never shot, FV Mark II with heavy barrel and Accutrigger for a buddy of mine with 4 square miles of gophers on his ranch near the Canadian border.
I have a 30mm 1-4x scope, bases and mounts for this rifle and have free floated the barrel which was bearing heavily on the stock. I note the Accutrigger is not as it appears on You tube and has a coiled spring coming out of the top for adjustment. Is this assembly missing some pieces? I also note the modular assembly of the stock around the action and wonder if there is an orderly procedure for glass bedding this action for fine accuracy?
I would appreciate experienced information as to the Accutrigger and also as to the best way to glass bed this action.
Thank you in advance for your attention in this matter.

Can you post a pic of the trigger assembly?

As for the stock, don't waste your time and money on trying to improve the factory plastic. It flexes too much and you can never stop that. Save your money and get a laminated wood stock.
