Help Needed Re PTA Model Number

For ordering an aftermarket bolt handle, what "Savage model #" is correct for my Precision Target Action? It's a short action, S/N K2985XX.

    Thanks,

    George

Your bolt handles are pretty well standard. Just order one for a Savage Model 10, 110, or a Precision Target Action and it will fit. There's one bolt handle for Savage Right Hand Right Eject Actions.

I thought he was looking for the big knob.

Model 16 or 116 will be stainless. Model 10, 11, 12 or 14 and 110, 111, 112, or 114 will be either matte or gloss depending on the factory part number. Any aftermarket bolt handle for those model numbers will fit your PTA.

Correct, the handle itself may look different, or may be made with different material, but the mount pattern is the same, so they all will fit all.
