I just got my first savage and I want to say it looks magnificent. I hope I chose right with the hs and not the McM. The most satisfying part came while reading the instruction manual it suddenly dawned on me this was the first manual I've read in the past 10 years that was entirely in English, no Spanish. And they're based in the land of Kennedy and Barney Frank. I hope to get everything loaded and mounted and try it out this weekend. Thanks to everyone for your info.

I think you will be very happy with it, I know I was with mine. Mine shoots .5 moa with 178 A-max's and I am not a rifle shooter...
