Hi, I have a Savage 1899 takedown in 22 High Power that's been in my family from brand new (I am 3rd generation owner). It's been stored for the last 22 years while I have been living abroad and I have decided that it's time to sell it. I have been away and out of the 'gun' scene for so very long now that I don't really know what the best way to sell such a gun would be. I had a look at the classified section of this forum but it looked like there hadn't been any activity for over a year.

Just looking for some advice about the best way to sell the little fella. I don't need top dollar but 50% or less of the actual value at the local gun shop kinda hurts a bit too much. BTW, I also have 3 full boxes + 6 rounds of original factory ammunition for it. Plus another 33 empty brass cartridges that have only been fired once. The ammunition was all bought about 25 years ago and has been stored since.

Thanks for your help!
