HI savage 270 revisited from out the back in NZ

yep just got a new weather warrior in 270 with accustock and its a left hand model cause I am
i live in New Zealand and go hunting when ever I can
i am getting on a bit and my injuries are starting to slow me down but you can,t kill weeds!!
when i get run over by a logging truck crawling across the road trying to get to my hunting spot is when i will have to give up i would say
in the mean time happy hunting and please don,t pull the trigger till you are 100% sure of what you are shooting IS WHAT YOU THINK YOU ARE STOOTING

I disagree somewhat. I think you could kill weeds but the 270 is just not enough gun....well you know with proper shot placement I guess it could be possible. In any event, just yesterday I watched a film of Col. Craig Boddington as he attempted to kill a deer in the brush country of Campeche Mexico. He was shooting from a tower and after two shots at the "deer" he realized he was shooting at a patch of weeds that looked like a deer. His comment was that sometimes you can make a patch of weeds look like a deer. Odd! Well the weeds did not die because he obviously did not have enough gun.
Press on Kiwi! and stay away from logging trucks and the places they are known to be.
