Pillars for custom stock

A while back I was looking for pillar material for some custom stocks. One is a Boyd's that is very trick. The other is a custom pistol stock that amazingly had no pillars installed under the epoxy bedding. Lots a fun work. Boyd's had no advice at all and that surprised me. Midway had no stock for pillars and neither did Brownell's.

I finally found a source for pillar stock I could cut to my length and he makes it in a tournament of outside and inside diameters. Here is : erniethegunsmith@yahoo.com

Excellent price and quality finished material. Slightly over-torquing the action for first fit and the receiver leaves signature locating marks in the pillars. Devcon finished off the projects.

If I were installing standard length pillars I would be using SSS supplies. Religion and all.
