    Boyd's Stock question for 93R17

I've pretty much settled on a Boyd's stock for my little 93R17. From what I understand, all of their stocks are contoured for heavy-barrelled rifles, but the barrel only rides in what looks like a two or three inch channel. My question is, is the heavy barrel actually thicker where it meets the receiver, or is just a straight contour vs. the tapered barrel on the FXP? If it's the same initial dimensions, I'll have one on order tonight.

    Thanks folks!

Eh, never mind - I went ahead and ordered a Boyd's Barracuda. I like the straighter comb vs the curve on the Evolution. Now with any luck I can drop the action in and rock without having to bed anything in. Now I just need to figure out how to paint the plastic stock on my Ruger American!
