I've pretty much settled on a Boyd's stock for my little 93R17. From what I understand, all of their stocks are contoured for heavy-barrelled rifles, but the barrel only rides in what looks like a two or three inch channel. My question is, is the heavy barrel actually thicker where it meets the receiver, or is just a straight contour vs. the tapered barrel on the FXP? If it's the same initial dimensions, I'll have one on order tonight.

Thanks folks!
