Some what magazine issue...

Finished my rifle build took a 116 30-06 FHSS and converted it to a 6.5x284 with heavy barrel and new stock.. Well I put some rounds in it to check how it feeds. Had to tweek the mag lips a bit so it would grab the cartridges other wise the bolt was just passing right over them and not picking a round up.. Well it seems to work now but I was wondering how many rounds it should hold.? '06 held 4 but I can only get 3 6.5x284s in.. I was hoping to get 4. can this been done? it's a hinged floor plate model with center feed.

Sorry bud, You ran out of room. Maybe CDI with a 5 rd 300wm AI magazine. Good luck, I hope someone has a better good alternative.
