I present to you, my Savage duo

    Hi,
Here is my first post !

    A bit of history :
Had the Mark II for some time, was looking for my first bolt .308.
Savage was a no brainer. I was searching for a 10 TR.
I found this gem last week used for a bargain !
The duo is now complete !

There is room to improve on the scope side.
Cars are my hobby before guns so the moneys goes into the car first usually lol

    In front :
    Savage 10 FCP McMillan .308
    Bedded by gunsmith
    Leapers 8x32x50 illuminated
    20 moa rail
    Weaver tactical ring
    Swivel bipod

It will serve as my hunting rifle for Moose (little to no walking involved)
and at the range for the pleasure. Maybe long-range also 600 to 1000yards.

    In the back :
    Savage Mark II TRR .22
    Tasco Varmint 6x24x42
    Ebay Bipod

    Mainly used at the range.
Took it out for ruffed grouse hunting last season. A lot of fun since it's very accurate. Walking in trails is fine but as soon as you need to get in the wood, the gun get too big and cumbersome for the task. Obviously.. it's a bench gun loll
