Picked up my new A

So I got my new AXIS yesterday. Haven't had time to clean it yet. It's not messy, but I figured there must be some unwanted gunk on there for shipping. Measured the trigger, came in at 6 lbs., no surprise. It actually seemed pretty crisp -- not a lot of creep before the trigger breaks. I'm used to milsurp rifles with about the same pull weight, but there is a lot of creep before they go boom.

Am planning to get to work on the trigger pretty soon.

I think The creep is minimized by all the lube. Remove the lube and youll likely have creep. I would think over time it will naturally happen

I guess anything that gets between the sear and the trigger could take up some of the creep, but I would think that effect would wear off very quickly.

I got the .223. -- so far I haven't had any opportunity for long range shooting (I'm in NJ), and I like the idea that the ammo is cheap.
