Barrel change

If you are doing a barrel change from one factory barrel to another factory barrel, do you worry about the factory markings on the barrel when you set the head space using the proper gauges? I've done a couple where I've switch from sporter weight barrel to a varmint size barrel and the factory markings are straight up and down. Just wondering what you do about this.

Just shoot it,you will never make the markings line up
