    Axis scope mounts?!?!

I have weaver bases on my axis 2 heavy barrel with Burris rings and the Burris rings won't fit my axis 1 weaver bases cause they are too wide. I'm looking for a 1pc base that I can throw on the axis 1 and when the heavy barrel gets back from repair than put the 1pc base on the heavy barrel. Any suggestions?

When you say they are "too wide", do you mean the front and back bases are too far apart? This is one of the most common reasons people go to a 1-piece base on their Axises, but I want to be sure that it's what you're experiencing.

I have used both EGW and Weaver 1-piece rails, and both are fine products. I also have a steel Warne rail that I have yet to acquire a rifle for!
