that's sounds interesting...............hmm
I generally don't over think my shooting process. Good way to screw up a good thing.
Yesterday getting chorony info. for my .HMR
I generally don't aim at a target for accuracy when getting chorony info. I just hope not to shoot the chorony.
I had a very tiny, tiny, like .5" target at 100 yards to focus.
With my old eye's it was difficult to see that small of a target.
Found myself fighting to focus. Eventually my eye hard focused on crosshair and floated the target.
To date it has to be the best I've ever shot that little .HMR.
Give it a shot (pun intended). See what you think. Share results.
that's sounds interesting...............hmm

Zen do you shoot with one eye closed one eye open?
It's because you did what you're supposed to be doing. Focusing on the reticle and not the target.
glad to see the subject come up ,,,, being a much more accomplished shotgunner ,,,,,,,,i wondered if anyone had recommend reading on rifle shooting technique with scope,,,,thanks
on the subject , does anyone have recommended reading on rifle shooting methods
Lots of good videos by Frank Galli of SnipersHide on YouTube. There's a lot out there on shooting, but you need someone reputable. Some guys sound like they know what they are talking about but not really.
One of my buddies published some good books available on Amazon. Just search Ralph T. Hicks.
