Is the "lightweight" Accutrigger on some of the actions listed for sale in the Northland Shooters Supply forum ad the same as the "target" Accutrigger advertised by Savage on their target model rifles?

Nope.
Pat is correct, but to elaborate further, the accutriggers have 2 different springs(not counting the target trigger). The varmint model lets the pull weight go down to 1.5 lbs, and the hunter model goes down to 2.5 lbs.

What dose the 10 FCP-K come with ???
the 10FCP-K and FLCP-K(for us lefties) goes down to 1.5lbs
I have a 10 PC. I think I have the heavier 'hunting' trigger? I think I read that the lighter target trigger has some part of it that is orange?
The target accu-trigger has a red blade. the other accu-trigger do not.Originally Posted by new_shooter

You don't know what you don't know.
My first Savage with an accutrigger is a new model 110 tactical in .223. Both my son and i have trouble with the accutrigger. When the accutrigger is depressed the gun will only click and not fire about half of the time. The gun must be cycled and tried again. We are currently shooting from a bench. Sometimes we can fire a few rounds before this happens, but it very irritating. Any suggestions
Welcome to the site. This is a common problem, turn the weight of the trigger up. Change the bolt handel out to something lighter like a Sharp Shooters Supply will also help.Originally Posted by ted0630
82boy,
sounds reasonable and a quick fix. Will try to adjust the trigger pull and look into the bolt exchange. Thanks..
Ensure you are pulling the blade/trigger straight back. If you are pulling to either side you can experience the same problem.Originally Posted by ted0630

Hi There
Looking for why my accutrigger did the same thing yesterday and pulling the trigger to one side was the problem
just dry fired it 100+ times and the only time I got the "click" was when I pushed the blade sideways
Thanks Rick!

Nick
Pulling straight will do wonders to you groups too!
Life is short, make every shot count.
