    Waiting for parts is depressing

So here I sit waiting for parts.
Ordered a barrel from Apache and waiting for the barrel nut wrench from Midway. Already have 500 brass and a couple new shiny boxes of A-max's ready to go. This is worse than waiting for Chrismas.

    Almost forgot.
    Stevens 200 SA
Apache 223 7 twist 26" varmint contour throated for the 80gr Amax
Weaver 20 MOA base w Waren rings
    Modified factory stock
Scope cheap center point right now but will be a Primary Arms 4-14

October? What did you order? I placed my order a week ago and Jim told me a month or so.

Glad to hear I am not suffering alone :)

My X-Caliber 7.62x39 .311 barrel from Apache I believe Feb 7 and he still hadn't received the barrel blank as of Tuesday. He did he had a shipment of barrels coming in Friday so hopefully mine's there. Still mags no difference though since my stock hasn't arrived from Richards Microfit yet but that should be here this week or beginning of next then the fun begins making that stock beautiful

I imagine .311 is not made as often as some other calibers.

    Same here, self inflicted,
had mine all together, on a 110 LA, found a Model 12 single shot , bought it and went with the MDT LSS chassis, and now I wait.

I feel your pain. I'm waiting on a one piece base for a gun that I promised would be ready for a match this Saturday. Dam thing was supposed to be here yesterday. USPS idiots don't know what 2 day priority means!

Ha. I'm a mechanic at a car lot and about a 2mnths ago I overnight shipped a brake master cylinder for a car that was sold and 2 weeks later my part arrived. And it arrived damaged. Another week later to get another one

Waiting on a barrel from Jim and a my action to come home from SSS. Every day I come home waiting for a package. Ordered the barrel in Jan, 300 WM match. Action was scheduled and sent last month. Got everything else here to build it. I feel you.

First time buyer of a Nightforce and I received it with nothing to mount it on. Going crazy.

I don't know what's worse, waiting on parts to arrive to finish a build, or having parts sitting around waiting for the gun to arrive to put them on. Actually doing both right now so it's a double whammy.

    Oh Mausingfield very nice.

Jim at Apache said he should be getting my blank in this week so very excited about that. I did ask for one change to the spec sheet instead of the 223 rem chamber it will be a 223AI. Figured since I intend it for the 75 and 80 gr Amax's the extra grain or two of powder might come in handy. So with that done I ordered a PTG 223ai go gage.

Kind of reminds me of when I was a kid and mailed the cereal box top and a dime in for something. Couldn't wait to get home from school to see if the mailman made a delivery.

When you start with the first piece its not so bad its that last one that's a killer.

You probably don't want to hear this grumpy, but my blank came in in March and he's just that busy I guess. Between that and commo problems, haven't heard much lately. Can't wait for it to show up though.

I know he is busy as all get out right now. Last Thursday he emailed that if I didn't hear anything in 2 weeks to email him again so we shall see. I was just happy that I could make the change to my order before he got the blank in. He has his email straightend out he is just having a hard time getting to them all with the work load
