Can't say as I've heard that one.
I will say that while the shelves are not overflowing, a few of my local dealers have a small supply of primers from each of those companies.
Last night I read from several different sources that Rem & Win will no longer provide components to the reloading market & will only sell loaded ammo? Looking at Midway, lack of stock and discontinued components seems to support this rumor?
Anyone have any info on this? Thanks...Jim

You don't know what you don't know.
Neither Remington nor Winchester have removed the components from their websites. There are no announcements of them pulling components from the market. Most of this discussion comes from the recent notifications from Midway on discontinued products, which are automatically generated when an item has been out of stock for a preset amount of time. I wouldn't worry about it.

Bass Pro and Cabelas near me both have plenty of it on the shelves. I just recently picked up a bag of 30-06 and 243 Winchester brass.
Thanks Guys. I will be glad to file this one in the rumor colum :-) ... Jim
MidWay says that Remington 260 Rem brass has been discontinued, but that's only one caliber.
