    I can't speak for the 30-30 aspect, but I have a 24v 223/20.
Good little gun, coyotes are scared of it.

    Re: savage 24v

Haven't seen a 30-30 over either ga. around here ever. I have a 24v-a in 222 rem over 20 ga. thats only had 30 rounds of 222 and 10 rounds of 20ga through it. I like the way it shoots, and handles, but I can't bring my self to shoot it any because of the low round count, 100% on the blue and 97% on the stock. Had another one similar to it when I was a kid and I loved it. I guess if I am not going to shoot it I should sell it, but who knows what to do. I guess its not hurting anything in the safe. All i can say is hope you find the one you want cuz they are worth shooting.
