Hi all,

New (rifle) shooter here. Joined a local range a few months ago and got the kids shooting in their CMP program. The two older kids loved the Savage Mark II FVT the club has so I looked at that one, but ultimately decided to buy the FV and put a scope on it for them. I also ordered an Axis XP in .223 for me and plan to take that scope and add it to the FV. So I'm looking for a good value scope for the Axis so I can shoot from 50 to 400+ (eventually). I will be asking questions about scopes so I appreciate any input on that you can give.

Thanks all. I went with a Primary Arms 4-16x44 scope Everything should be here by (maybe) this weekend so I'll clean everything and start the process to get both guns sighted. If the weather is good we could hit the range this weekend.
