How to adjust the trigger.

How can I adjust the weight of pull on this trigger, if its possible? Bought the rifle used and Im new to bolt actions and Savage. It's an extremely heavy pull and I find my self developing a flinch waiting for it to fire. No where near as nice a trigger on either of my M1As. Shoots very well I thought for a factory barrel, 1/2-9/16", 30-06, 180gr SSTs, 53gr I4350, BR2, at 100 yds in a Mcree chassis.
