Two 99's coming up for auction

These beauties or beasties are going under the hammer soon:

From the auction catalogue (prices are estimates in our local currency):

F107 .300 Savage Mod 99 Lever-Action Rifle Round 24" barrel with open sights. Chequered wrist & fore-end. Steel butt plate. Serial no. 5841XX. Very good bore, good to good plus condition. R3950.00

F108 .30/30 Savage Mod 99 Lever-Action Rifle Round 24" barrel with open sights. Stock has been refinished. Serial no. 3232XX. Barrel in fair condition. R3500.00

F109 .243win Sako Finnwolf Lever-action Rifle Iron sights to 22 1/2" (572mm) barrel, 2,75x Redfield scope on Lynx mounts. Detachable box magazine and high gloss finish to stock. Good bore, good plus overall condition. R12500.00

I'm aiming for F107, which I could go for F109 but wrong calibre and at the potential price to much of a collectors item to use. (Exchange rate is about R15.50 to the USD).

Comparing the two it should be obvious, but thanks for the heads up.

No collectible value in 108 the way it sits Norm, even if it is on the rare side it's been *******ised.

I was toying with the idea of converting 108 to a 35/30-30 if I could get it real cheap.

    Don't think that's a late A Norm, it's got a raised front ramp sight.
