    The guy didn't mention how much the kit was but that it it's for the home hobbiest.

    The "guy" in that video is Dave Manson himself. Those Manson tools will put a better crown on your barrel than most gunsmiths can do on a lathe.

    Here is the price list for the standard hand cranked unit. The military style electric driver interface should be cheaper.

    Quite a few precision shooters will recrown their barrels ever X hundred rounds to maintain the utmost accuracy. Doing it yourself rather than sending it out to a smith, in cases like that would easily recoup the cost of the Manson tools.

    If I was a working gunsmith, there is no question that I would use his tools to crown rather than a lathe.

    I just had one done for 48 bucks... from a smith..

    Seems like a good kit.

    I recessed target crown can be done with a LEE case trimmer. Ya...I laughed too till I tried it. Use one caliber under for the mandrel and bush it with some brass shim stock

    Cheaper than a lathe, but still pretty pricey. Why don't one of you young guys buy the kit and then rent it to us old guys.
