    Putting on Boyd's stock on bmag


    I got my new Boyd's stock for my bmag yesterday I'm trying to figure out how to remove the encrutcheons I've googled it but can't really come up with anything. TIA

    you will need to use the two escutcheons and action screws from the original.
    tap them out from the plastic stock carefully with a punch

    Thanks lonewulf I got them. I got the stock on. I like it can't wait to get to the range for a little range therapy.

    which stock did you get?
    got a classic nutmeg on my sporter and the thumbhole nutmeg on my HB

    how did you barrel fit in the channel? even on both sides?

    I got the classic in the pepper laminate. Yeah it's even on both sides of barrel. Only problem I had was the bolt on back of trigger I had to sand some wood around the hole the bolt wasn't reaching the receiver but after I did that fit like a glove buddy. Now to go shoot it finally.

    I very happy with the 20 gr Winchester ammo. This was a 5 shot group at 100 yds. Not to bad.
