Help With Bolt Removal, Please.....

I have an F class model 12, and have never had an issue with removing the bolt...of course it has the "top" bolt removal setup.

Having recently bought a Model 10 Predator in .260 Rem, the first few times I removed the bolt there was no problem.

After taking it to the range for a few rounds, I'm having difficulty removing the bolt.

Having pulled the bolt to the rear, holding the trigger rearward and then depressing the release into the magazine, it still won't come all the way out.

I expect the answer is very simple....probably obvious, but I don't see it.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've never seen one where the release is depressed into the magazine. Is this a top or bottom release?

I said "magazine".....should have said: into the trigger guard. Thanks for the clarification.

Had this problem on my Mod12 action. The rear action screw extended into the receiver enough to prevent bolt removal. Shaved very little off the screw and re-torqued it. Problem solved. You haven't always had the problem, but it may be worth checking out.
