New bolt head, and I'm not familiar with the 11 but I'm sure it might be as simple as a .223 magazine.

Is it a short action 308 or long action, internal or bdm clip

The model 11 is a short action. (caliber doesn't matter.)

If it has a internal mag or a detachable, it doesn't matter it is the same action. The difference is the cap on the mag, and the extra parts for the DBM. The problem would arise depending on if it is a stagard feed or a center feed.

Stagard feed detachable magazine would be a problem.
You could still shoot the 223 but it would have to be single shot. To get the magazine working you would have to find a old stagard feed 223 magazine, about the only place I know that may have them is Numrich, or Savage.
