Haha. Nice find!!!
Ok, I realize this may be bad form being that we are all Savage lovers; but this is a special circumstance. We all know Remington's quality has diminished severely over the years and I will never buy a new production rifle from them for as long as I own firearms. However, I just picked up the M24SWS that was built during their M24 Rebuild Program. Now I want to shoot it since it's a new barrel and action but since the stock has so much war patina and wear from operations abroad; should I replace the stock so I don't damage the authentic sniper wear and tear?
i would buy the same type stock just to shoot it. Help me decide!
Thanks guys
Haha. Nice find!!!
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
I'd shoot it in honor of those who carried it! That's what they would want!
What LW said...why put it in a different stock when you have a fantastic package as is...awesome rifle!!
Shoot it.
Use it - don't abuse it...
