    Bolt hand swap question

    ignoring stock modification....

what all is involved to swap a bolt handle on a Left hand rifle to right hand?

it looks like all i would have to do is buy a RH handle?

    thanks

    Re: Bolt hand swap question

A cut in the receiver to let the handle drop down.

Down inside on the receiver lugs - the very tricky "cam" region is a bear to recut on the opposite side.

New handle, new rear baffle. Bolt head remains the same as the ejection and loading remains the same.

I've done right to left - I know SSS also does it.

A lot of work - cheaper to buy another action but sometimes it's the challenge not the time or money.
