1st 600 yard Bench Rest shoot

My local range is maxed at 300 yards so in order to go further I had to join some range friends & drive to another state for a 600 yard bench rest event. We had a total of 35 shooters in 2 classes, custom rifles & factory rifles. 24 custom shooters & 11 factory shooters. We shot the IBS 600 yard target. 20 total shots for record in 3 rounds, 7 shots, then 7 more & last round of 6 shots, steel gong used for sighters. Targets pasted & gong repainted between 2 relays.
I shot my Savage Model 12 F-class 6BR in factory class with 105 Berger Hybrids. Weather was cloudy in the 60's with 10 to 15 mph winds. As luck would have it in my first ever attempt at 600 yards I won the factory class with a score of 170 out of 200. This means I'm screwed & will be putting more miles on my truck for return events.
The custom class was won by a custom Savage in 6 Dasher with at score of 193 out of 200. It was a Savage Day.
    My target:

Great, especially for a first time. Keep the truck, put a cap on it and spent the night in it at the range.
Try clay birds on the berms between the targets. Great for sighting as its easy seeing hits and even when broken the pcs. work well.
Good practice for anybody and especially kids shooting clay birds at 4 or 500 yds. with a 223.
