    Took the plunge....


    I've been an avid shooter and proponent of Savage rifles (mostly the heavy barreled varmint/target type) for a very long time. I've also been lurking on this site for quite a while too so I figured it was time to join.

    Hopefully I can add some hobby level expertise(?) to the conversation. From reading on here I already know that you guys and gals can help me too.......

    I've been shooting my entire life and reloading for going on twenty years. I have done a few simple things like barrel, trigger and bolt head swaps to a few Savages and have learned a lot in the process.

    With that I say hello from Middle Tennessee!
