    Pretty much finished.

Here is my first bolt action build and hopefully not the last. I wanted a rifle that I could get into long range with without going full custom. If this is something I enjoy and can actually do well then a more serious build will come later on.

    Parts list
    Savage action from NSS
Recoil lug and barrel nut from NSS
    PTG bolt head
26" CBI heavy varmint 6.5 creedmoor
    Seekins precision 20MOA rail
    Seekins precision low rings
Viper PST 6x24 FFP w/ defender scoop caps
    XLR element chassis
    Alamo four star bipod
    And a brake from Ross.

Thanks guys. Like I said I have never messed with a bolt action before. I have only shot a few of them before. Those were a Mosin, rem 700 .308 and .22's. I really thought this one out and tried to buy quality but not extremely expensive. If I shoot this one out then a defiance machine will be in my future.

Nice! I'm a sucker for two-tone guns too, so it's double nice. Is the scope the mil or MOA version? I just picked up one of the same with the mil version of the EBR-2.

    Great looking pooch too!

The scope is the Mil/Mil with the EBR-2C. I had to wait almost 4 months for it. That was the slowest part.

He's a 6 year old blue pit. He's kinda skinny nowadays at about 85lbs. Here is my other red nose brindle. He's a little younger. My blue is such a good dog that he's easy to live with. The red nose not so much. He sort of got thrown on me and I got him no too long ago. He was a straight outside dog and doesn't have house manners. Thor (my blue) has been an inside dog since birth.

Awesome dogs. I am a dog lover myself. I have two greater swiss mountain dogs and a beagle. The swissies are family dogs, while the beagle is a family/rabbit dog. I have an awesome wife, great dogs, and a ton of rifles that I can relate and talk to others about with...life is good. Thanks for sharing!
