$150 Axis

If any of you are in northern or central Ohio, wanted to pass a deal along to you.

Fin Feather Fur is selling the original Axis in 223, 243, 22-250, 270, 308, and 30-06 for $199.99. Plus the $50 mail in rebate means $150 Axis.

I picked up 2. A 22-250 because I don't own a rifle in that caliber yet, and a 308 for a future build. I have no idea what I will be building this time, but could not pass up a $150 action.

Where are you finding the rebate for the regular models? I can only find the rebate listed for the HB model. Thanks.

Darn fine deal, with or without a rebate! Sadly, I get the feeling there won't be any left by the time I get to passing through Ohio.

I was wondering the same thing. Could be worth the drive for this. Maybe these are all HB models.

Edit. I just looked at their Feb. flyer (on line) and it states a $50 rebate on these rifles. The Savage site clearly stipulates that it applies to Axis HB only. Hmmm. Hope they have their ducks in a row.

unless it is a HB Axis I don't believe you will qualify for the rebate :)

Hey guys, sorry I was traveling all week for work and was not able to log in.

I stopped by Fin yesterday and inquired about the fact that the Savage rebate only applies to HB models. I was told that Savage will honor the advertised from Fin. There was a mix up between Savage and Fin when it came to approving advertising and their manager assured me that Savage will honor it. I will be sending my rebate form in tomorrow, so we shall see.
