    Ken Farrell RTS 1.0 Height!

I've searched and searched, but cannot find someone who has measured and posted
the ACTUAL height of the Ken Farrell RTS 1.0 (0 MOA!) Short Action Steel Base:

I am Desperately trying to come up with the measurement so I can determine the height of rings I need. ???

Re: Ken Farrell RTS 1.0 Height!

I just measured mine and it is roughly .45" from the top of the action to the top of the base(measuring end closest to the recoil lug). This is only an approximate measurement because it was hard getting the calipers in there with the scope mounted, but it's close.

What scope and rings are you using? I have a Sightron 50mm scope with Burris Sig Zee 30mm med rings and it fits pretty nice.

With that Ferrell base and a Sightron 8-32x56 in Med. height Burris Sig. Zee rings I have about 1/8" of clearence under the scopes sun shade. Enough room for a Butler Creek flip up cap.
