Help with Model 12 Scope Base Mounting

I searched but couldn't find a good answer to this one.

I have a model 12 FCV on the way and wanted to buy my scope base. I can either buy 2 of the # 46 bases or a one piece base (Weaver 48338). I would prefer to buy the 2 piece base but I am not sure if the screws are the right length. Will I need to start grinding down the screws that come with the # 46 bases so they don't interfere with the bolt and don't hit the barrel shank?

I have a set I just took off a Hog Hunter that you can have if you wish. I am very compelled to tell you that the Warne are my favorite two piece along with Leupold PRW rings. This set up has performed flawlessly on everything frlm .223 Rems to .300 Win Mags. Steel rings on steel bases on a steel receiver. The rings are split at 2/3 instead of 1/2 so the have a nice squeeze around the scope tube.
    More shooting, less typing.

Try them first and if they fail to secure the base then reduce their length by grinding or cutting.

I've had good luck with Burris steel two-piece Picatinny bases.

Just wondering, why you prefer the 2 pc over the 1 pc?
The 1 pc gives you much more latitude in ring placement and is more rigid than a 2 pc, no?

Thanks all. Texas, I would assume that the 1 piece may obstruct the chamber a bit and may interfere with the scope a bit. Obviously not enough to cause major issues but more so than the 2 piece.

One piece is superior because you can properly bed it quickly with no fuss.
