    info on a savage 110E 222 rem

Hi. I am new to this forum and am looking for some information on a 110 E I've had for a few years. I don't see much info on the 110 series in 222 rem anywhere and was really hoping to find some here. This gun is indeed a 110E and not a 340. I have an old 340 as well in 222 but was wanting to know if anybody would know how common is the 110E in 222? Any idea how many were made, what year it might have been made, and how much it might be worth? serial # is E9632xx. Thanks in advance for any information anyone could share.

No info on numbers made, but Savage only offered the .222 Rem in the 110-series from 1975-1978. The E was the "E"conomy model, meaning the cheapest so they're not exactly sought after collector pieces. Value-wise I'd say somewhere between $300 and 400 depending on condition, maybe a little more if you find that one guy that just has to have it.

thanks for the info. that's more than I've gotten anywhere else. I've never seen any for sale anywhere and figured they were not made for very many years or in great numbers. The old gun is in really good shape and is extremely accurate. I have a 340 that is chambered in 222 as well I just like that little caliber for groundhogs and coyote here in south central Kentucky. I know the 340 isn't worth much and figured the plain stock 110 wasn't worth much either but they are sure fun to shoot.

Yep, the .222 Rem is still a favorite of mine as well. I have a Model 24V chambered in it.
