    111 LRH 338 Lapua and 10 fcp-sr base question

I just got a 111 LRH Lapua and a model 10 fcp-sr. They both have a one piece base on them. My question is do either of these bases have any elevation built into them? Or is there a way to measure and see?

With the round rear actions, you can measure the thickness up front vs at the back and you will be able to tell if it is sloped or not. Shorter in front = sloped. Mine on an LRH was sloped. I will measure it and post the specs later. If yours is made of aluminum, I would suggest removing it and replacing it with one made of steel. From my experience, aluminum bases do not hold up well on the 338 Lapua.

Most EGW bases that come on the 110 .300wm & .338 Lapua variations have 20 MOA elevation. It's usually pretty easy to tell by looking at it.
