    First build-recoil lug

I just finished my first barrel swap on a model 12. It went well. I had a friend verify the head spacing for me. I will shoot it tomorrow, God willing and if the creek don't rise.
I bought and installed a new recoil lug. The lug looks perfectly fine. Can they be re-used? What do I check to see if it is still good?

unless its damaged you can reuse it over and over and over.

I've used the lug as a thing to hold in a bench vise. If you "damage" it, it can still happily be used.

    While maybe slightly more important:
Don't stop driving your pickup, because there is a dent in the fender.
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.
