    416 Remington or 416 Taylor?

I plan to purchase a 110 in 300 win mag and swap the barrel for either the Remington or the Taylor. Can anyone give any advice or pros and cons on each caliber?

The 416 Taylor has 92gr case capacity, and the 416 Rem Mag has 107gr case capacity. If you are going to shoot these size calibers, I would go with the 416 Rem Mag you can always load it down. But once the Taylor is maxed out that's it. I have a 416 Rem Ultra Mag it's 33" long plus the brake the thing is a friggin monster, but it is also a blast.

Is it just as simple as swapping barrels? Does the 416 feed well from 300 Winchester magazines?

If you plan to build it as a repeater check to see if the 3.600 inch C.O.L. of the 416 Remington mag is going to fit your magazine. If you want more power than the 416 Taylor you might consider the 416 Ruger.
