I'm kicking around the idea of switching the action on my model 12 22-250 from single shot to detachable box mag. Thinking something like the CDI AICS mag style.
The details on my rifle: model 12 22-250, blued 2nd generation short action, flat top bolt handle, top bolt removal, Stainless Steel bull barrel.

I typed in my serial number to savage arms part finder and it came up with:REC RH S/NM RD SR 110 (NEW MAG) - P/N: 106091 $157.00

Which I believe is the blind magazine. From their picture it looks like a round top bolt though.
Would this be the right way to go and then convert to DBM or is there a different action to run?
Also what kind of clip would work with 22-250? Would that be .308?
I have read talk about center feed and stagger feed, is center feed the way to go with this?
I know I will be switching stocks, wanted to do that eventually anyways.

Any ideas are appreciated, thanks in advance!
