    Criterion 284

A friend of mine ordered a Criterion 284 win match barrel. Just wondering if anybody here had experience with it and what COAL they were seeing. He is putting it on a Long action and can hopefully seat the bullets out longer.

Just depends on the reamer, and how much throat they give it.
If he wants something specific, he needs to talk to the people he is ordering from. If he is just ordering a mass produced thing, none of us can tell what state of wear or specs the tooling has.
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.

well, I have the same barrel, from NSS, and I built on a long action 110. If I remember correctly, I seat berger 180 vld target at approx. 3.2"oal, my loads are currently seated at 3.18" for accuracy.
