Same rifle as the A17, just chambered in .22 WMR.

I would like to see one run. I guess if the lockup works with the 17 maybe it may work well with 22WMR. I hope....

The YouTube channel "The Gun Collective" makes mention of it on their Range Day 2016 video, at the end. I believe the remarks were "underwhelmed with a mushy trigger"

Basically everything that applies to the A17 will apply to the A22. Lousy, creepy, mushy AccuTrigger and all.

Red face A Savage A22 is in my closet

The wife and I were at the local gun shop a few weeks ago to buy a clip. While walking out I saw some Savage A22 ammo on the shelf. Looking around I saw it - needless to say, It came home with us. I tried it at 30 yards so far , right by the house (" rain, rain, rain!! "). Anyway I used 4 different brands of ammo, seems the CCI stuff shot best ( A22 ammo ). I really like the gun, its light, points quick, fits me ! The trigger is fantastic. No jams or any problems , shot about 100 rounds through it. When the rain stops and I'm off work I will get it to 100 yards.
