Yeah, I've toyed and toyed with the idea of a 6mm, but just can't stomach the barrel life yet. I've looked hard at the 6 SLR.

If you're already running 6.5 Creedmoor just go 6 Creedmoor. No sense in beating yourself up with all that extra work.

That's exactly why I took the 6BR reamer to the 6.5x55 case. With the 105's it doesn't give up much to the 6.5's
and that Lapua brass is dirt cheap for the x55

I believe the 2800 Area. 3000-3150 is what makes them advantageous over the 6.5's.

I can live with that speed..............whats the life span of the 6mmbr barrel?....2k rds?
