I had that same dilemma a few months ago couldn't find another duramaxx with aluminum block. The Choate with dbm was alittle to heavy for this particular build; so I decided to go with the B&C M40. So, glad I didcomes in under 12#
Hi All,
It's been a few years since I posted, so I'm a little out of the game. What aftermarket stock options are out there for a LA staggerfeed action? It used to be that one could get the B&C Duramaxx, bed it and go. But there doesn't seem to be anything in that class or price range any longer.
Any tips would be appreciated!
Thanks all and God bless!
Adam

The good thing with a long action is you can use a blind mag stock for a Center Feed action.
You will need to remove some material from the front of the mag well, that's all.
I used a Center Feed Boyd's LH Thumbhole stock on my old Staggered Feed 110 action when I built my 6.5-06.
Direct from B&C, some of us have been waiting awhile for them to build this stock upon request.

Here's some pics of what I had to remove in order to fit a LA staggered feed action into a LA center feed stock. It was about a 1/4"of material at the front of the mag well in the stock.
The finished product-
stockade still makes them
