Question How do I remove a v spring ejector in a flatback 110/111

Getting ready to swap barrels and boltheads and I need to remove the v-spring ejector on an older 110/111. Is it retained by the pin that hold the trigger assembly? thanks for any help

why do you need to remove the ejector? to remove the bolt hold the trigger back while pulling the bolt rearward.

I don't need to remove the extractor. I need the v spring ejector removed, because it is a controlled round feed and I'm switching to a push feed bolt head. The CRF doesn't have an ejector on the bolt face, it has a grove cut into the face of the bolt head, and as you pull the bolt back with the cartridge in it the brass is kicked out. I understand how to get the bolt out without any problems. If you would like to see the difference check out midway and look up 110 savage bolt heads, picture might work better than me trying to explain it.

i corrected myself. wasn't aware you were converting from crf to pf. i haven't removed my ejector yet but i believe you do have to remove the sear pin to remove the ejector. hopefully someone who has done this before will enlighten the two of us! good luck.

Yep, just remove the pin. Remove the ejector. Re-install the pin.
